BYREDO YOUNG ROSE, 100 ML
Top chord: Sichuan pepper, sunflower seeds;
Heart chord: Damask rose, iris;
Base chord: musk, ambergris.
Young Rose is a new floral fragrance for men and women, released by the Byredo brand in 2021. The novelty is being promoted with an eye to the Chinese market.
When a classic rose is intertwined with spicy Sichuan pepper, an extraordinary fragrance is born. On the occasion of this release, Ben Gorham spoke about the sources of inspiration for the creation of the rose-the first-born Young Rose - about the energetic creative environment he felt in China, and therefore invited Chinese photographer Zhang Jiacheng (Leslie Zhang) to create a series of creative visual works for the project.
Being the leader of a new generation in the field of visual creativity, Zhang Jiacheng feels the form well and uses innovations in a nostalgic context. He immerses people and things in the illusion of the past, conveying an aesthetic metaphor that seems familiar, but does not belong to any time. Under the lens of Zhang Jiacheng, the young lovers truly conveyed love and desire. Or the vicissitudes of life, or perseverance. These emotions have been heard for centuries, and the symbolism of roses remains the same, and flowers bloom invincibly.
